New CEO of Public Real Estate Company (EDTA) and two new board members were appointed by its board of directors Superfund. They are Mrs. Iro Hatzigeorgiou and Mrs. Maria Ioannidou and Mrs. Martha Kavvathas.
Iro Hatzigeorgiou is an executive with rich domestic and international experience in key roles in the field of real estate investment as an executive of very important companies in the field. This valuable experience will be a decisive impetus for ETAD’s mission to manage and utilize the private properties of the Greek state.
Grigoris D. Dimitriadis (Superfund): Faster reforms are coming for National Investment Fund companies

In particular, Mr. Dimitriadis thanked Mr. Panagiotis Balomena, an authorized advisor and executive member of the board of directors, who served as interim CEO with positive results, and announced that he was taking over as the company’s Deputy CEO.

Iro Hatzigeorgiou / Short biography
Iro Hatzigeorgiou has completed a remarkable career spanning several years with extensive experience in the real estate investment industry. She spearheaded the strategic planning of major development projects and investments and her career is characterized by important roles in recognized organizations such as Noval Property AEEAP, Lamda Development SA, Goldman Sachs International, The Arts Team @ RHWL (Aedas), Hellenic Technodomiki SA. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) from Cornell University with full international student and scholar award and an MBA from INSEAD.
Maria Ioannidou / Short biography
Maria Ioannidou is CEO and Country Manager at Duty Free Stores, a 100% subsidiary of the Swiss AVOLTA Group. He studied chemical engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received an MBA from ALBA. He worked at Alpha Bank for 16 years, starting in the trading room and then holding senior positions in various departments of the bank, e.g.
treasury, corporate banking, but also in credit unions and wholesale banking. In 2013, she took on the role of CFO in the newly acquired AVOLTA (then DUFRY), Duty Free Stores (KAE). In 2019, she left KAE to take up the role of CFO at DIMAND, while in 2022, following the company’s IPO, she took up the role of Chief Business Development Officer at the company. In 2023
returned to Duty Free Shops as CEO and accepted the invitation of the Avolta group management to support the group in the new era that began after the acquisition of Autogrill and in the company’s vision to offer passengers a complete travel experience with services in travel retail as well as in F&B.
Martha Cavvathas / Short biography
Martha Kavbatha received her law degree from the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2004) and a master’s degree in commercial law (DEA – 2005) and a doctorate (2009) in competition law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne. He has many years of experience as a legal advisor in institutional, state and European institutions
agencies providing consulting services in the management of public property, in matters of privatization and supervision of the financial system. He specializes in supervisory and competition law and was a substitute member of the Competition Commission (2012-2017).
